Vanity trends for 2022

Making your bathroom look good could be difficult sometimes due to all the details you have to pay attention such as the shower, the bath, the toilet, and the vanities. So, we want to help you identify some beautiful vanity trends for 2022. To see some options, please check out our vanities.

1. White, ebony and gray vanities

By far, these are the most popular colors. These colors go with virtually all bathroom styles and tint as they are neutral. White will help make the space larger, which is a very important consideration if you have little room in your bathroom. But if you prefer an ebony vanity, for instance, consider using a light white countertop.

These colors will stand the test of time, and also, if you decide to repaint the walls in a few years, they will still go. Other colors can be more challenging to decorate with and make it harder to sell your house in the future. But definitely, grays and silvers ones are more stylish.

2. Open bottom vanities

They add a bit more space and make the bathroom feel less cluttered. If you are replacing a vanity, be sure that your tiles go all the way to the wall. And thanks to their visibility space on the bottom, you could take advantage of that by putting some colorful decoration that combines with the rest of the bathroom.

3. Vessel sinks

A vessel sink is a basin that sits on top of a bathroom vanity or counter, rather than insets like traditional drop-in or under mount sinks. These sinks are found only in bathrooms, not kitchens, as their size and style would not be practical for the kitchen environment. The vessel sink basin can be any material: fired ceramic, glass, stainless steel, stone, copper, or marble. Glass and ceramic vessel sinks are the most popular types today.

In addition, they are effortless to install, as simple as cutting a hole into the countertop, and you can easily change out the vessel sink in a year or two down the road.

4. Floating vanities

Floating vanities are fixtures that appear to be “floating” because they are mounted to the wall and do not sit on the floor at all. These are trending designs because they offer a modern finish that creates a more luxurious space. Even in their most affordable incarnations, these vanities look and feel expensive. Despite their possible complex installation, this option is riveting due to their efficient storage without compromising space.

Another good reason to use these types of vanities is that can be installed at any height you wish to accommodate taller or shorter users.
